Here's a screenshot of my iPad app, the yellow buttons are the matrix of justly intonated pitches, the red dots with lines are parameters such as delay feedback, reverb, lopass frequency and resonance, and fm modulation index.
Fm synthesis is really easy to do.... x = sin(y + z*sin(w)), pretty much.
