Just developed an iPad app that is an FM synthesizer with reverb, delays, and a simulated Moog filter. The tones are informed by W. A. Mathieu's Harmonic Experience, 24 justly tuned pitches, perfect for my wind chimey music. I'll post sound and pictures soon. Everyone should own that book, it's an awesome exploration of pitch.
It's a drag that computers are so easy to work with, but they are easy to work with. Next, I'll have to build little light boxes that will bluetooth info into my iPad synthesizer. I think I know how I'll do that.
